In the 1960s and 70s when the land was a working orchard farm, the Old Apple Shed was used to store the apples and cherries that were harvested.

 

Once it was not needed anymore, the shed was converted into this charming romantic hideaway with the design of having a minimal impact on the environment.

The village of Bethersden with 2 country pubs, a village shop and an artisan butchers is a comfortable 5 minute walk from the property. If you are looking for excitement, there is a nearby site for hot air balloon rides, where you can get a full appreciation of the landscape from new heights. Or spend the day exploring the woods and visiting remarkable historic castles and houses before returning and putting your feet up during a romantic night in.

The ground floor accommodation is small yet perfectly cosy for 2 guests, with a double bed, a comfy sofa, a wood burning stove so keep the shed toasty during the cold winter evenings, windows with calming views of the untouched countyside, a bathroom and a hot shower.

Prices for 2 guests start from £120 per night including linen, towels and homemade cake on arrival. 1 night stays possible mid-week, 2 night minimum stay on the weekend. NO PETS as the owner's have their own dogs. You can borrow them for a walk if you wish. No under 18s.
