The Curious Eatery
The Curious Eatery is an exciting new eatery in the village of Boughton Monchelsea, Kent. Owned by sisters, Lesley and Nicole Parry, who have impressive culinary experience; both trained at Cordon Bleu’s Silwood School of Cookery in South Africa and Nicole was Richard Branson’s head chef on both his yacht, Necker Belle and private island.
Their vision for the venue is to create a unique dining experience; an African ‘feasting’ style of cooking bursting with flavour with a British twist, family-friendly with outstanding service set in a stunning environment, designed by Room Seven Interiors. Now also featuring a quirky and gorgeous themed function room, check out the gallery for more photos, prices on their website link above.
Regular events are held throughout the year including wine and wisdom nights, Summer BBQ’s and irresistible specials like the clam shack – a must for any seafood lover! You can also sign up for their secret supper club too, an intriguing and exciting offering. You get informed of the date and area but the actual venue remains a mystery – in the past the venues have included an apple packing shed, a gin distillery, an old school house and a manor house.
Everything about The Curious Eatery is exciting, welcoming and delicious! What was a disused pub has now been truly transformed, conveniently located just on the outskirts of Maidstone it really is a gastronomic gem to be explored.
