Glamping (or glamourous camping) has become very popular in recent years with participants escaping towns and cities to enjoy the countryside in high end camping type accommodation but with all their home comforts included.

 

At Kits Coty Glamping they aim to offer exactly that. Whether you stay their quirky themed Shepherd's Hut or decide to get closer to nature in their tented facilities, you will be assured of a warm welcome, a warm bed and experience a truly unforgettable and extremely cosy night under the stars.

Ideally located close to both Maidstone and the Medway Towns the Shepherds Hut, Festival Tent and themed Bell Tents are perfect for short breaks, romantic getaways, or longer self-catering holidays in the Kent countryside. 

They have recently won a VisitEngland Rose Award for service excellence and won Silver in Glamping Business of the Year at the 2016/7 Beautiful South Awards. Last year they won bed and breakfast of the year in the Medway Culture, Design and Tourism Awards and  also a Bronze in the Beautiful South Awards for Excellence in the category of Self Catering Holiday Provider of the Year. In addition they have now accumulated over 400 five star reviews across Tripadvisor, Facebook and online booking system. 

Marrakesh is a lavish Moroccan themed bell tent lovingly decorated with bold coloured rugs, striking fabrics, cushions, throws and  lanterns. You will sleep on low beds around a log effect stove which will ensure you remain cosy during your stay.

Your tent is provided with a charcoal barbeque, cooking rings, pots and pans and all the other bits and pieces you require for preparing your meals. Your individual area also benefits from a picnic table and fire pit so you can cook or enjoy a fire in the evening while watching the sunset over the North Downs. A covered communual cooking area is provided for cooking in inclement weather.

The shower cabin is tucked into the edge of the site. Here you will find a hot shower, sink and toilet facilities together with washing up area and a freezer for keeping your ice packs frozen. This area also benefits from a kettle, toaster and microwave oven for general use.

The Moroccan tent can accommodate up to 4 people and benefits from a mains power connection allowing you to recharge your phone / tablet etc. Outside torches, lanterns and candles are the order of the day to make the most of an evening under the stars.

Mamadou is a safari themed Bell Tent inspired by their African travels. She is decorated with dark woods, crisp white linens and subtle hints of Africa. You will sleep in a four poster bed below a canopy of white fairy lights. The addition of a log effect electric stove will ensure you remain cosy during your stay.

Your tent is provided with a charcoal barbeque, cooking rings, pots and pans and all the other bits and pieces you require for preparing your meals. Your individual area also benefits from a picnic table and fire pit so you can cook or enjoy a fire in the evening while watching the sunset over the North Downs. The funky 7 metre Festival Tent  is full of bright and colourful furnishings, 6 single beds, bean bags and plenty of bunting. Perfect for families and larger groups. This tent is bursting with character, fun, friendly and welcoming. Ideal for celebrating special events with your friends and family or just making the most of long hot summer days. This tent will bring out the hippy in you!!!!!!!

Pamela is a traditionally built shepherds hut similar to those commonly seen in the Kent coutryside in bygone days. She is a vintage inspired hut themed with shabby chic furnishings and soft pastel shades. Pamela is equipped with a full sized double bed, a fold-away table and chairs, plenty of storage and a wood-burning stove to ensure you remain cosy during your stay with us .
