Sandwiched between modest flint cottages within the seaside town of Birchington, although what lies beyond the front door will surprise those who visit. Quite simply an idyllic coastal retreat, with bohemian charm, a host of quirky features, stylish lighting and a hint of theatrical drama!

This historical cottage is contemporary in design, with a mix of urban glamour and industrial touches that make for a unique and enjoyable stay.
The setting is gorgeous, whilst on the rear side by the garden, the main road leads to the coast along a parade of period cottages, a quiet lane no wider than a single cars width leads to a large open field with walking paths that meanders over to the Blue Flag awarded beach of Minnis Bay. The cottage also has use of a beach hut at Minnis Bay, a great bonus to complete the seaside trip! (Ask the team for more information)

Minnis Bay is the best kept secret along the East Kent Coast and Coastal Mill Cottage is less than a 15 minutes walk away - even quicker on bicycle! After a day's sight-seeing, or perhaps a long lazy day at the beach, retreat back to your self catered cottage and cook up a storm in your quaint bespoke kitchen or make it out to the garden for a BBQ. And in the cooler months, why not cosy up in front of the log burning fire with a good book!

Based in the thriving village of Birchington on Sea and with Minnis Bay as it's local beach. Minnis Bay, Birchington's beach, is a wonderful stretch of sand coupled with ample free parking and children's outdoor play area nearby. There is cycle hire available at Minnis Bay and it has large seaside pub, The Minnis, where you can watch some wonderful sunsets. Walk to Quex Park home of The Powell-Cotton Museum which houses three galleries of stuffed animal displays, depicting more than 500 African and Asian animals against their natural habitats. An intriguing sight to see!
